The O'Brien family is facing foreclosure, a reality many families across the United States are confronting today.
Diane O'Brien still holds on to a small hope that Ray, her husband of 17 years, can change the course of their future and their children's future. The family takes their boat out to the ocean, not to run away, but to try to block out what is happening at home.
At sea, they stumble upon a competition by chance. That unexpected encounter becomes a moment to pause and reconsider the future of their children and their marriage.
Written and directed by Lindsey Ryan, Capsized reflects what is happening right now in America, where so many are losing their homes, a reality that is hard to watch and hard to accept.
